On March 23, 2021, Speech Connections marked the one-year anniversary for closing our doors for COVID. The team gathered to reflect on the year and look to the hope that is on the horizon. The Speech Connections team has faced so much adversity, heartbreak and loss. Those heartbreaks will be remembered and held close to our hearts.
Our reflections on the year did include so many accomplishments.
- We have all returned to working in the building.
- The children have safely returned.
- The staff has been vaccinated.
- We have been able to serve our clients in the virtual and in person sessions.
- We have had clients master their goals without ever coming into the office.
- Our team has stayed connected while maintaining social distancing.
- Weaver has learned to take an item to a staff member in another room.
- A new team member will be joining us in June.
The greatest accomplishment, though, has been the progress of our clients and their health.
